The 13 agencies in the Alliance provide Family Services which promote the safety, and wellbeing of vulnerable children, young people and their families, including expectant parents.

A Family Services worker works in the family home to explore and create goals the family wish to achieve. Family workers are skilled in working with families experiencing a wide range of issues such as family conflict, mental health, domestic violence and/ or drug and alcohol problems that may impact on the family life, parenting issues, challenging behaviours in children and difficulty in accessing support services.

Family Services also has access to other family programs offering services to families experiencing short term or emerging issues, or more intensive family services.
