VACCA Cultural Hub – a space that celebrates Aboriginal culture and is full of deadly activities and resources to help you get creative, grow your knowledge and connect to culture.  Resources include Stay Strong – an animated podcast for young people, by young people.

Stay Strong is created by VACCA in partnership with GARUWA – an Aboriginal owned production company led by Genevieve Grieves and Kieran Satour.  It is a series of interviews by young Victorians with people they respect, about how they got through tough times. Aiming to generate a sense of resilience during the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Stay Strong remains relevant into the future as young mob continue to navigate topics such as the stolen generations; racism; self-love; community and family and the impact of social media.

As a podcast and animation series, Stay Strong incorporates artworks by young VACCA artists from the Narrun Yana Art Collective and our Art Mentoring Program. Stay Strong is funded by National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) through VACCA’s Barreng Moorop Program.

VACCA are seeking both Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal carers to undertake either respite care (weekends), Emergency, Short- and Long-term care as children needing Out of Home Care is rising.
