The Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL) is a social justice organisation working to prevent and alleviate poverty across Australia.
Our mission is to pursue lasting change, to create a more compassionate and just society where everyone can thrive.
Brotherhood of St Laurence is your first stop to accessing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). BSL has partnered with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to deliver Local Area Coordination (LAC) and early childhood services for the NDIS in Melbourne’s west.
As a community partner, BSL works alongside people with disability to provide support to access the NDIS and connect with funded supports, community supports and mainstream services.
Our team assists Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with disability with successful transition to, and continued engagement with the NDIS.
Our workforce is trained to understand and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and includes people from an Aboriginal background.
