PURPOSE AND VISION

Bina Gurri aims to help improve understanding about hearing loss as experienced by First Nations people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Bina Gurri

Hearing loss is a big issue among many First Nations communities. Hearing loss can also impact how First Nations people engage with and benefit from the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Bina Gurri Yarns has been developed to help improve understanding about hearing loss as experienced by First Nations people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. We hope the training will contribute to enhanced communication and engagement and therefore better outcomes for NDIS participants and workers.
