This ceremony brings community together to publicly commemorate the importance of NAIDOC week in Victoria and officially mark its beginning. The event honors continued connection to culture, country, & language of all Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples with a Smoking Ceremony, Welcome to Country and a moment of silence for our people who have gone before us.
