Mabu Mabu is a Torres Strait Islander owned cafe, catering and food business celebrating Australian native ingredients.

Our food culture is all about sharing, and this experience is fundamental to our business. Whether you are joining us for a meal, an event, or picking up some products at home, we want you to feel part of our village.

Nornie Bero is the head chef and business owner of Mabu Mabu. Originally from Mer Island in the Torres Strait, Nornie has been a professional chef for over 20 years.

In addition to our new Bar and Kitchen at Federation Square; Big Esso, the Yarraville Tuck-Shop is a busy cafe and social hub. With a breakfast-to-lunch menu, we’re highlighting the flavour and diversity of Indigenous ingredients.

At the Tuck-Shop, you can also purchase our full range of Indigenous herbs, spices, and teas, and our home-made sauces with native and tropical flavours, as well as products from Indigenous businesses we love.

We also sell a range of products online and offering catering for events.
