Deadly Dads group, held every 3rd Tuesday of the month! Open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dads and dads of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander kids, our group meets every month to connect to community and learn more about early childhood development and how to build strong cultural identities. Lunch is provided and may assist with transport too.
Wyndham City Council invites you to come together as community to recognise National Sorry Day, a day of observance, reflection and learning that commemorates the Stolen Generations. Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation will provide a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony before a flag raising event and a range of guest speakers. BBQ Breakfast and refreshments will be provided.
Wyndham City Council will mark the start of National Reconciliation Week with a community and staff flag raising event and morning tea. The event will include a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, provided by the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation and will include guest speakers, community organisations, BBQ Breakfast and performances.

Koorie Homework Club (KHC) are having weekly catch ups for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students (years 3-6) or tutoring (secondary or tertiary students) every Tuesday 4pm-5:30pm, during school terms. The KHC weekly program offers a safe space for children to catch up on their homework and take part in cultural activities. Invited Koorie guests regularly visit throughout the year.
