Cultural safety is the holistic embodiment that guides us, moving in the opposite spirit to the removal of our children, continued racism, poverty, family violence, mental health, homelessness crisis and disadvantage in general.

Telephone Support Grandmother’s United providing support for one another as court support, family support, navigating the Department and VACCA, social and emotional support, and transport. Grandmother’s United is there for our women who are raising children in later life. You are not alone.

Yarning Circles and Activities Cooee Bunji is supporting decolonizing research that aims to bring the children home. We take confidentiality seriously. Your story is important and will be treated with respect and confidentiality, your story is safe with us.

Meeting Weekly to Support Women and Children through Culture and Connection Marla is a supportive environment that creates a safe space for women to come together, and for youth and Elders to yarn. Your story will be protected, what is said in this group STAYS in the group.
COOEE BUNJI FAMILY SUPPORT
Working with our Families to strengthen Family Systems and End the Intergenerational Removal of our Children Stopping our children being removed is core business at Cooee Bunji. We work with families who have been injured by intergenerational trauma. Stolen Generation’s and their descendants are welcome here, we understand you. We will help and fight to keep families together. We stand with you. We have gift cards to help if you are struggling, clothing in emergency cases if the child is dropped off and you haven’t got any change of clothing for the child. We have cleaners to also help in desperate Situations and help with cooking.
