PURPOSE AND VISION

Treaty is our opportunity to make sure we – the Traditional Owners of these lands – always have the freedom and power to make the decisions that affect our communities, culture, and Country.

Treaty for Victoria

We are the democratic voice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people on the journey to Treaty in Victoria.

What’s Treaty all about? What’s happening with truth telling? Why should I enrol? How are we making sure our Elders are heard? These are all valid questions, and we want to ensure you and your mob have the answers.

Check out more videos in this animated video series for some straightforward explanations on Treaty, truth telling, enrolling with the Assembly and the Elders’ Voice. Show your aunties, uncles and mates!
