Community Engagement (CE) is a program of Djirra that develops and delivers a unique range of culturally safe support services, scheduled activities and workshops for cultural connection and personal interest, and a suite of community and mainstream events and campaigns.

The Community Engagement Managers will preferably be Aboriginal women whose links within community, combined with their extensive personal and professional connections with Aboriginal women. An understanding of the impacts of family violence, ensuring that Community Engagement operates with a cultural lens that respects and celebrates Aboriginal women’s business.

The Managers will share responsibility for service planning, evaluation, and reporting, managing budgets, funding submissions and new initiatives, representing Djirra externally, as requested, and collaborating effectively within and contributing positively to the Djirra management team.
